We collect as little as we can, use it only to run the store, and never sell it.

Who is responsible

Sleeper Awaken, sleeperawaken.shop, is responsible for your data. Contact: hello@sleeperawaken.shop.

What we collect, and why

  • When you buy: your email, name, country and billing details are collected by Stripe, our payment processor. We receive your email and order details so we can deliver your files and help with your order. We never see your full card number. Basis: performing our contract with you.
  • Order emails: we email your download link after purchase, and again if you ask for it. Basis: contract.
  • Seven Nights: if you ask for it, we store your email address, the date, the form you used and your country (estimated from your connection), send it to you, and email you a few follow-ups about Sleeper Awaken over the following days (then only occasionally). Every email has an unsubscribe link, and they stop once you buy. Basis: consent.
  • Checkout links: if you open our site inside a social app’s browser and ask us to email you a checkout link, we use that address only to send the link. Basis: your request.
  • Checkout reminder: if you gave us your email for the free gift and then start a checkout on the same device without finishing it, we may send you one reminder. We never email an address that was only typed into the payment form. Basis: legitimate interest.
  • Reviews: if you leave a review on your download page, we store your rating, your words, any photos you add (shrunk on your device first, which also removes location data), the name you choose to show, your order reference and your country, and show the rating, words, photos and name on the site once we’ve checked them. Ask us and we’ll take it down. Basis: consent.
  • Recent-purchase notices: the site may show short notices like “Someone in Spain just bought…”, using only the product, your country (estimated from your connection) and the time of the order, never your name or email. Basis: legitimate interest.
  • Visit statistics: we count visits with cookieless statistics, kept on our own hosting: pages viewed, the site or campaign link you came from, the steps you took towards buying, country and device type. Visits are counted with an anonymous ID that changes every day, so you can’t be followed from one day to the next or across sites. When you start a checkout, where your visit came from is saved with the order, so a sale is credited to the right campaign. Basis: legitimate interest.
  • Customer records: we keep a contact record for people who sign up or buy (name, email, country, what they bought and when, and notes we add when we help you), so we can support you and know who our customers are. Basis: legitimate interest.
  • Email delivery: for emails we send, we record whether they were delivered, opened or clicked, so we can stop emailing addresses that bounce or don’t want them. Basis: legitimate interest.
  • Fraud prevention: Stripe’s script checks payments for fraud and sets cookies for that. It loads only when you go to buy on a computer (you press or point at a buy button, or open checkout); on phones you pay on Stripe’s own page. Basis: legitimate interest.

Cookies and similar storage

We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies. The ones marked “needed” keep the site working, so they don’t ask first.

Visit statistics need no cookie: we don’t store an ID on your device. Where your visit came from and whether you’ve interacted with the page are kept in your browser’s session storage (f-src, f-hu) until you close the tab, only to count the visit correctly.

Who processes data for us

  • Stripe: payments and receipts.
  • Cloudflare: hosting, storage and visit statistics.
  • Amazon Web Services (Amazon SES) or Resend, whichever sends our emails: sending emails.
  • Tools we connect: we may pass order, sign-up and member details to other services we use to run the business (for example a spreadsheet, an email or accounting tool), only for the purposes above.

Some of these providers are in the United States. Where data leaves the UK or EU, it’s protected by the providers’ standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.

How long we keep it

  • Order and payment records: as long as we’re required to for tax and accounting (usually up to 7 years).
  • Download links: at least 12 months.
  • Sign-ups: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
  • Reviews: while they’re shown on the site, or until you ask us to delete them.
  • Recent-purchase notices: 14 days.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, delete or export your data, or object to how we use it. Email hello@sleeperawaken.shop and we’ll respond within 30 days. You can also complain to your data-protection authority.

Children

Sleeper Awaken is not intended for anyone under 16.

Changes

If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
